Ford Figo grab the award of Indian car of the year 2011

Ford Figo, the particular hatchback was selected as the Indian Car of the Year (ICOTY) 2011 on 15th Dec 2010. In India, ICOTY is the top machine honor and Ford Figo has been chosen from the array of autos available in the fastest growing Indian car market place, for this prestigious prize. The laurels is in its sixth year and is given to a new motorcar after an extensive testing by selected jury fellow members which include far famed auto journalists in India. Michael Boneham, President and Managing Director of Ford India, was presented with the award from Dr R P Singhania, Vice-chairman and managing Director of JK Tyre & Industries at a grand mathematical function in Mumbai.

Mr Boneham told that, the laurels is the perfect talent for the Ford Figo to end the year. The honor is definitely a award from the best in the automobile industry. The jury member includes the most reputed motorcar newsmen which has stamped on the efforts of the company. Ford Figo is well know for its elegant aim, fuel economic system and pleasance forcing experience which is competitively priced for the Indian buyers. He further added that, the company is grateful to the jury fellow members and also to the emptors who has made Ford Figo a success. 

The hatchback was taken by 11 jury fellow members through a multi direct voting system which is similar to the European Car of the Year selection criteria.

One of the jury members stated that, the jury fit that the US auto company has a success in Ford Figo when compared with its contenders. The hatchback has efficient ramming experience, two fuel economy powertrian option, savvy expressive style and wide insides and the pricing which played a very important role. What's even more appealing is Honda's insurance at just Rs.1 with a saving of up to Rs. 40,000 on the Accord and the Civic. The City is available with an additional offer of corporate discount too and some cash discount too. Other cars that are available with attractive schemes are Ford’s Figo, the Fiesta and the Endeavour.
