Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt. Ltd., showcased the Etios which turned out to be a headturner at the Auto Exposition held in New Delhi in Jan 2010. While the auto was not a product theoretical account, peoples at the Exposition got a fairly clear exposure of what the auto would look like once it got in by the twelvemonth end and also about what they could expect on it. Toyota exhibited both, the hatch and the sedan chair models, at the Auto Exposition.

Toyota set in motion the gas version of the Etios on 1st Dec, 2010. Toyota plans to set in motion the diesel engine version of the Etios in 2011. Toyota might plunk the 1.4-litre diesel engine that even powers the Corolla Altis diesel engine.
